Vickery & Company was originally started in 1945 by B.A. Thomas and Bill Johnston and became Thomas & Johnston. In 1984 it was passed down to two sons-in-laws and became Vickery-Clarke. In the late ‘80s, Bill Clarke retired and the company became Vickery & Company. Dennis Barber, a son-in-law of Bill Clarke, who has been with the company for more than 22 years, took sole ownership on Jan. 1, 2005. Vickery & Company is now in its third generation of the family ownership.

Our company’s main focus is to provide engineering solutions for plumbing, HVAC and fire protection in the Central Florida area (Tampa, Ocala, Orlando, Daytona, Fort Myers/Naples) and the newly added Jacksonville and Miami markets. We are the only manufacturers’ representative in Central Florida with an in-house service department

We represent major product lines including Aurora Pump Company, Syncroflo Pumping

Packages, Weil Pump Company, RBI Water Heaters & Storage Tanks and Thrush Company.

Product application examples include domestic water booster systems, water heating and storage, and fire protection. We’ve recently completed major installations of products at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, Hilton at Orlando Convention Center, OUC at Lake Nona, Sarasota Memorial Hospital – Expansion, Slade Condominiums at Channelside and Westin Hotel at Rocky Point. Projects under construction include Shands Hospital, NASA – O&C Modernization, NASA – Crew Launch Vehicle Launch Pad, Lockheed Martin Laser Tower Project.

And we continue to grow. This year we expanded our service department, added a Drafting & Design department, and expanded our territories to include Jacksonville and Miami.
